Who We Are

The Outfitters is a dedicated team focused on providing residents and visitors with the products they need to enjoy life in Republic. Owner, Arwen Woolley, grew up in Ferry County and loves the rural lifestyle. When the opportunity to buy The Outfitters came along in 2012 she jumped at the chance of owning a historic piece of the town she calls home. “This is the store I shopped at when I was growing up, I can’t imagine life without it.”

We love where we live! Republic is nestled in the mountains of Ferry County where there are lots of opportunities to get out in nature. You can ride the Ferry County Rail Trail, dig fossils at Stonerose and fish in dozens of mountain lakes. Winter visitors enjoy snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and even ice climbing.
